How a Deadly Disease May Also Contribute to Greater Fertility

We Don't Usually Talk About CAD and Fertility Together, but That May Change

An Australian study released by the University of Melbourne has found that genes causing coronary artery disease may also increase fertility in women. CAD is a condition where plaque builds up in the arteries that tragically kills 8.9 million people every year. Lead researcher, Sean Byars, found that it's possible CAD has a positive impact on the ability to produce well. The information Byars and his team uncovered provides an understanding as to why the disease exists and discovers other unpleasant genes that possibly have positive impacts on the body as well.
