Choosing to go through IVF can be a scary thing to do, especially without knowing what to expect. Dr. Edward Marut of Fertility Centers of Illinois says three out of the five phases of the IVF cycle may cause minimal amount of pain. Part of the cycle involves stimulating follicles by injections in the ovaries in order to retrieve your eggs. Many women describe these injections as bee stings and even opt for gel or inserts which can create a mess. Dr. Marut continues to break down each of the five phases and what the process of each will look like, including how your body may respond. Read the rest of the study here.
